Tiger Translate Malaysia @ Kenanga City

Tiger Beer, the world’s iconic Asian beer presented the first ever Tiger Translate event here in Malaysia at Kenanga Wholesale City (KWC), right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Thousands of art and music enthusiasts witnessed as art and music collided under one roof for an unforgettable, one of a kind experience.

Bruce Dallas, Marketing Director for Guinness Anchor Berhad (GAB) said, “Over the years, Translate has had resounding success globally and today we are happy to finally join the movement by introducing this platform to Malaysia. Tiger’s main aim has always been to connect with our hip, young and energetic consumers and with today’s turnout, the Translate platform has successfully enabled us to engage with them. Our deepest gratitude goes out to the visual and music artists who did a stellar job bringing the two worlds together and engaging with the audience. It has always been our aim to keep the brand relevant to our consumers and tonight was a testament to that. We definitely look forward to having more of these in the years to come.”

In true Translate fashion, attendees were treated to an array of live art installations as they made their way towards the main hall through the Translate art tunnel.

Within the tunnel, they had the opportunity to witness first hand, talented graffiti artist, Kenji Chai, creating beautiful pieces of Tiger Translate art.

A-Lin has achieved rapid commercial success across the Mandarin-speaking world since her debut in 2006..Her natural talent has led some to call her the next A-Mei..

Like A-Lin, A-Mei is a Taiwanese aborigine of Amis descent, and arguably the most popular singer from Taiwan..A-Lin herself has admitted that A-Mei has greatly influenced her and frequently covers A-Mei’s songs when she performs..

*Chang Chen-Yue*

Rock singer Chang Chen-Yue first became popular thanks to his 1998 hit song ‘Ai Wo Bie Zou’..But he’s not just a singer: this multi-talented Taiwanese entertainer is also a songwriter, guitarist, dance DJ and actor..

My Dream In The Year Of The Tiger

Have you ever heard that people who was born in the Year of Boar (Pig/Babi/Chu/Snort snort) is very lucky (compatible/get along well/ngam key/stim stim) with those people who was born in the Year of Tiger *rawr*..

For me to be born in the Year of Babi Hutan Khatulistiwa, I shall make some wish in this auspicious Year of Tiger..

First and foremost, I wish to finish my study by next year as in May 2011 to be precised..I don’t want to drag anymore..

I want to work, earn money, go party, find chickedy, you get my story?

But before I grad, my dream is to know more pretty girls in my Uni so that I could leave with no regrets, AT ALL~!!!

To know more pretty girls, I have to be standout among others which I doubt I can do it slumberly because I have lost my long hair, for months!

So to compensate that, I think by having a clean boy nerdy image would do the job..

In order to do so, I need some money so that I could refurbish myself to fit that condition..So money is of course my another dream..

But to get/earn money as easy as ABC, I need lots of lucks in this Year of the Tiger, I might need to visit Bangkok for some reasons *evil smirk*..

And again, to go to Bangkok, I need some moolah do fulfill my dream..

The easiest way is of course none other than to win the RM 8,888 at the Tiger Run event organized by Nuffnang..

As a Chinese, the Chinese New Year (CNY) is just around the corner, I think I shall flood myself with more Tiger Beer so that the Tiger luck is flowing in my blood whole year long..

RAWR + RAWR + RAWR + RAWR + RAWR + RAWR + RAWR + RAWR = 8 guys drinking Tiger Beer~!!!!!

8 is an auspicious number for Chinese..Eight, lapan, 8, pat, hachi, pah, FTW~!!!

Nuffnang Standout Party With Tiger @ HQNine

Two weeks ago, Nuffnang once again organized another party, after the recent Maxis Music Bash and the joint collaboration of LG Party, came Standout with Tiger Beer..

The theme was quite easy, but it’s really hard if you planned to win some prizes and all coz standout is very blunt and has a vast option of being standout among the standouts..

Again, not having enough time to get some really standout costume, I’ve just decided to play with my long hair a bit..

I donned a double ponytail with my hair and I guess I was already standout among the guys..How often do you find a guy with double ponytail?

Liang again was the emcee for the party, but this time he has a co-emcee, that is Jojo Struys, the host, singer, actor, whatever..

*Liang and Jojo*

I must say they made quite a partnership emcee-ing together..One, who is already very familiar with Nuffnang events, another one who is very experienced in hosting shows and all..

*Jojo Struys and I*

Being a newbie as a Nuffnanger, I must say Jojo made quite an effort to talk around with other people despite her celebrity status..

Something I’m quite surprised and actually looking forward to..LOL~!!

*Vivien and I*

Vivien was there with the boyfriend, Dexter..I want to applaud her for her bravery in telling the other fella to buzz off, or something like that..Nice~~..

*Su Ann a.k.a Pinkpau*

Su Ann is back in Malaysia and wil be staying for 3 months then head back to The States to resume her study..

It’s been quite some time since our last supper at Steven’s Corner eh..Shall we? LOL~!!

*Flora and Kristine*

I don’t know why but people seemed to be amazed with my double ponytail..

I know right, not many guys have double ponytail..I’m just standout wtf..

*Kimberlycun, Mellissa, and KY*

That’s Kimberlycun, my biao jie giving me lessons on how to pick up gwai lous..Unfortunately, there was only one gwai lou in the party..

Mellissa, came back from Melbourne and KY will be busier than ever..LOL~!!!

I shall skip all the stories which I bet you’d already read them somewhere else..I’ll just share the pics I’ve snapped on that night..Continue for more random pics..

I’m A Standout In Life

It’s pretty obvious that I’m standout in my own league with my very own traits..

Everyone knows I have a very distinctive long hair and it’s even longer than some, if not most, of the girls that I know..

I mean, how many guys out there have long silky smooth hair like mine wtf..Muahahahaha *devilish laughter*

Somehow it’s a tad contradicting that I used to have GI hairstyle back in secondary school and now I’m all out with a rocker image..

I can even headbang like no one else did but ended up with stiff neck and shoulders..

Now that I can tell people I ROCK with an image, not just crap talkings..

*Head bang to the tune of Muse’s Time Is Running Out*

And to cap my so-called success, I headbanged at the recent Sunburst Festival 09 at Bukit Kiara Equestrian Club with Korn, all sing “All Day I Dream About Sex (A.D.I.D.A.S)” together yo~!!

Live it up as a rocker yo! Talk about rocker, I’ve impersonated John Lennon before..

*Make love, not war~!!*

After the event only I thought that I should impersonate Kitaro instead of John Lennon..LOL~!!

Apart from headbanging and being a rocker all, I can do just about anything with my long hair..

I’ve cosplayed dressed up as Sadako, of The Ring fame (some thought it’s of Ju-on fame, which is not) at Nuffnang’s Silent Halloween Party last year..

And how many of them actually fully utilized their body parts? I mean, hair?

*Hair down or hair up?*

If you think that’s not standout nor cool enough, I even roamed Jalan Kia Peng with the crazy bunch and created a bit of havoc on the street..

If you still think that’s not standout enough, we walked all the way from Borneo Baruk Club to Pavillion and sat down for some coffee talk at Coffee Bean..

*Queuing for some coffee and scares the customer in front of me*

Well, I don’t only have long hair but I’m funny at times, too..I dare to say it’s one of my best personalities that gets me clique and connected with friends and all..

I’ve fallen asleep in the bathroom and was captured by the camera..

*Me likes Doraemon..Doraemon likes me*

If sleeping in the bathroom and got captured by the camera isn’t standout enough, how bout sleeping in the lecture hall?

It was an early morning class and I couldn’t stand it, I just slept there and then..

*Lecture? Sleep better*

Not standout enough just yet? I sleep on the road as well, it might prevent accident..Think if you are god damn sleepy and you still want to drive..

Possibility of running into an accident is quite high..Best remedy, sleep it away..

*Sleeping on a winding road*

Standout or not, it’s up to you to decide..But then again, I do believe that everyone is standout in his/her own way, whether you like it or not..

Of course, to be an outstanding person, do it with something that is rare or get a limited edition item, such as the new limited edition bottle of Tiger Beer..

*Graphysics, Rise, and Energy*

Should the most outstanding blogger please stand up, please stand up..

Maybe it is me indeed~!!!

Til then, see you guys at Nuffnang Standout Tiger Beer Party..
