First Comedy Thursday Of 2009 By Timeout KL

Sunday, January 4th, 2009

Yes people..It’s the first Thursday of 2009 and it’s Comedy Thursday again~!!

I still remember my first visit to Little Havana for Comedy Thursday and it was a night to remember because Hishamuddin Rais was there..

My second visit wasn’t really bad too..Team leader Chi Ho made it very well..I had some good laughs before 2008 ended..BEST~!!

This time around, the line-up is long haired guy Alfred, Zac (yet again), Yugi, Sri and Ian..

*Timeout KL host, Matt Salleh and comedian Alfred*

*Yugi Bear*

Well I’m not sure who is Sri and Ian but I’m expecting something good from them..

And please no more let down performance ala Davina Goh..It’s irritating and I don’t think it will be a crowd puller..

Be there at Little Havana on 8th January 2009 at 8.30pm to kick start your 2009 with some good laughs..

Anyway, check out the RM10 voucher HERE..

Random Eats At Pudu Siew Yuk And Dragon-i

Saturday, January 3rd, 2009

The other day on a fine public holiday, it was Awal Muharam, I made myself got up in the morning just to meet up with Sheon to satisfy his cravings for pork..

Not to mention that I wasn’t asleep until 6.30am on Monday morning, then I got up at freaking 10.45am on a holiday..That’s just not me..

But for Sheon’s sake, I pat my lazy bums and got up..To my dad bewilderness, he too asked me, “So early got up for lunch??”..

So I say, “Yeah..The siew yuk have to queue damn long..So have to be early a bit”..

I told Sheon to wait at the place at 11.30am, coz I’ve forgotten the time they open for siew yuk business..

Then to be safe, I told Sheon not to rush and be there before 12noon will do..

Indeed, we were god damn early..Reached around 11.45am..The siew yuk scheduled to be out at 12.30pm..Sheon already waiting there with Brenda and King..Then Joshua arrived too..

*The wall with lots of photos and certs with politicians, with Sultan when he got the PJK, and many others*

Yeah, that’s Sheon with Joshua and Doraemon King with Brenda..King just want to be anonymous so I put up my trademark Doraemon face on him..

By 12.30pm, suddenly the place was full with patrons, some queued up to get the roasted pork (siew yuk) instead of sitting there to wait..

Remember, we reached the place around 11.45am but the pork wasn’t ready yet..By the time we ordered and waited for it to come, it’s already 12.40pm..

And the pork was out earlier than scheduled (12.30pm), 12.15pm..

We ordered half a chicken, and 3 sticks of siew yuk..Which later on only I realized it’s not enough for us, not to mention King and Brenda already had some light meal before lunch..

*Mouth watering roast pork*

*Close-up on the roasted pork*

Don’t you feel like having a bite too? Hahaha..Sluuurp..

The total damage was RM75..If only I ordered 4 or 5 sticks of siew yuk..LOL..

Then guess who was on holiday and went for siew yuk too? Former MCA leader, Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting and his family..

*Datuk Seri Ong Kating and family*

Even politicians comehere and I’m not surprise to know that Ong Ka Ting actually called to order before he reached the place..Talk about so-called VIP..

But VIP what the heck..We eat the same food..We sit on the same place..And I can also afford what you are eating..Hmph wtf..I’m so random..LOL..

Then at night, I went out with Elaine for some shopping at Pavillion..

We had our dinner at Dragon-i, and it was a nice outing..Ample of parking spaces, not too crowded in Pavillion..I love it..

I believed it was because of most people either went back hometown or went for trips..After all, it was a long holiday, stretching from Christmas Day (Thursday), then most people took leave on Friday (26th), all the way till Monday..

*Elaine’s don’t know what Fried Rice*

*My don’t know what mushroom with chicken and pork*

Well, I can’t really remember what we ordered but they were really nice..

All I can remember is the one I ordered is on the top most of the Pot Rice page in the menu..LOL..

My Pot Rice was very fragrant and I definitely love it..Our meals plus drinks was about RM45..That’s almost the same price eating at Kim Gary~!! Haha..Lovely..

Anyway, anyone can enlighten me with the names? LOL..

Secret Santa On Christmas Day @ Michaelangelo’s, Pavillion KL

Thursday, January 1st, 2009

After a chaotic wonderful booze party on Christmas’ Eve, I joined another gang the next day at Michaelangelo’s in Pavillion Kuala Lumpur for a Christmas Dinner cum secret Santa outing..

We did it last year at TGIF in Pavillion too..Was supposed to eat at La Bodega but it was damn packed..So we changed our route..

*The people*

Attendees were, Hikaru, Rames, Hiew, Junn, Jason, Ryan, Jed, Jen, Cherrie, Eunice, Kate, Jacklyn, Madeline, and ME..

Michaelangelo’s is another Italian restaurant, serve spagetthis, pastas, pizzas, steaks, etc etc..Like any other Italian restaurant..

I would say I was surprised with the price on the menu..It’s very affordable albeit its nice interior design, which I thought was a true fine dine restaurant..

Well too bad there is no food pics in this entry coz we were too hungry to take photos of the foods. We had our dinner at freaking 9pm okay..

But, I really must recommend this spagetthi that I had..I’ve forgotten then name as it’s in Italian..I only remember the descriptions, beef, mushroom, and olive oil..

It’s oh-so-yummy creamy and the portion is quite big, and creamy..The beef was damn nice and creamy..Did I say creamy?

If you want something different, try to order a pizza, I don’t know the name..The description is moon-shaped pizza..That’s all I remembered..LOL..

*The moon-shaped pizza and my beef spagetthi*

After eating,as usual, we did some camwhorings and all before our secret Santa thingy..Well, that’s the bunch of DSLR users we have..

Nicholas’ Surprise Birthday Celebration, Nuffnang Style @ Redbox Plus, Pavillion

Sunday, December 28th, 2008

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO NICHOLAS FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU~!!!! *raise hands up in the air and profusely shaking crotch*

Well, another Nuffie’s birthday and it was quite a wicked plan..It was Christmas’ Eve, 24th of December 2008, where it was quite a tradition for Nuffnang to work somewhat half day..

Then the Boss have a plan in mind, to throw Nicholas a surprise birthday party..Not really the exact date though..His is on 28th of December..

The whole office had MSN conference without him knowing it, despite sitting beside Pinky with the monitor facing him..LOL~!!

During our conversations, everyone was like held themselves from laughing because the conference was a bit spammish rather than a master plan to topple Chee Ching’s surprise birthday celebration, masterminded by Nicholas..

We waited for the Boss’ signal and we went starving coz it’s 2pm and we haven’t have our lunch yet..And the Redbox reservation was at 3pm-6pm..

So Boss dragged Nicholas to Pavillion and tricked him that they need to search for a Xmas gift for KY’s Xmas’ Eve Party later on that night..

They walked and walked and walked and I’m not sure whether they bought anything or not..

But we had a bad experience with Pavillion’s Redbox Plus..We reserved our room at 3pm for check-in, yet we were still waiting in the waiting corner at freaking 3.15pm..

*The whole commotion, from waiting to makan coz starving*

We complained this and that and in the end they only let us in around 3.30pm..Then I texted Boss says we got the room and cake readied..

Then, there comes the birthday boy..Okay, the video is a bit dark..Set your monitor brightness to higher specs or something..

So yeah, our plan went off very well..Muahahaha *devilish laughs*

*Birthday boy Nic-Chay*

More of the karaoke sessions..Nice~
