Tiger Translate Malaysia @ Kenanga City

Tiger Beer, the world’s iconic Asian beer presented the first ever Tiger Translate event here in Malaysia at Kenanga Wholesale City (KWC), right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Thousands of art and music enthusiasts witnessed as art and music collided under one roof for an unforgettable, one of a kind experience.

Bruce Dallas, Marketing Director for Guinness Anchor Berhad (GAB) said, “Over the years, Translate has had resounding success globally and today we are happy to finally join the movement by introducing this platform to Malaysia. Tiger’s main aim has always been to connect with our hip, young and energetic consumers and with today’s turnout, the Translate platform has successfully enabled us to engage with them. Our deepest gratitude goes out to the visual and music artists who did a stellar job bringing the two worlds together and engaging with the audience. It has always been our aim to keep the brand relevant to our consumers and tonight was a testament to that. We definitely look forward to having more of these in the years to come.”

In true Translate fashion, attendees were treated to an array of live art installations as they made their way towards the main hall through the Translate art tunnel.

Within the tunnel, they had the opportunity to witness first hand, talented graffiti artist, Kenji Chai, creating beautiful pieces of Tiger Translate art.

Tiger Big Away Game, Manchester United vs Liverpool

It was a fun night at Sunway Giza where rival supporters met each other at Beer Factory to watch the Manchester United vs Liverpool at the Tiger Big Away Game event.

tiger big away game

It’s nice of Tiger to put up this Big Away Game event with cool games, photo booth, lucky draw, and Tiger booze!!

For Manchester United fans, this game is definitely a game to prove the team’s strength to make up for their deteriorating performance under David Moyes.

For Liverpool fans and supporters of other clubs, it’s important to them, too, that Liverpool should beat Manchester United in the big rival match to take advantage of that situation.

For an Arsenal fan like me, with the Gunners not doing too good this season, it’s enjoyable to watch Liverpool’s and Manchester City’s performances.

Liverpool took the lead in the first-half through penalty, scored by none other than Stevie G. Entered the second-half, Stevie G almost scored a hat-trick from the spot, only denied by the goal post.

Suarez completed the victory with a nice goal on the 84th minute. Most of the patrons at Beer Factory jumped in joy!

Congrats to the lucky draw winner who have guessed the score correctly and won himself a PlayStation 4!!

It was a good fun experience and thanks to Tiger Beer and Beer Factory!

Tiger Viewing Party – Arsenal vs Chelsea, Season 11/12

The English Premier League Season 2011/12 is coming to its last few matches and as usual, the matches always seemed like they were fixed in a way that 3rd-placed team have to go against 4th-placed team for the Champions’ League spot and the top two teams have to battle it out on the last match of the season to vie for the title, and so on..

On 21st April 2012, I have attended the Tiger Viewing Party – Arsenal vs Chelsea at Publika Dutamas for bringing down the Emirates Stadium from north London to Kuala Lumpur..

Makeshift walls were built as the one resembled the real Emirates Stadium, tunnels, and also tiered seats to make the game more enjoyable..

The Gunners Stadium, is half of the wall at the outdoor area of Publika in front of The Bee..Invited David to join me..

Tiger Asian Music Festival 2012 @ Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach

On Saturday, 14th April 2012, the Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach was packed with more than 40,000 party goers, many of whom had managed to secure exclusive invites from Tiger’s website, Facebook page, as well as nationwide promotion at Tiger outlets for the Tiger Asian Music Festival 2012..

Due to overwhelming demands, Tiger had also given out additional 1,000 exclusive passes on 12th April, and all were snapped up in less than 2 hours!

The heavy downpour in the evening didn’t deter the people to go all out to have fun at all! I would say it’s probably due to the venue, Sunway Lagoon, a surf beach and water themed park, wet or not here we go!

The festival kickstarted with a blast, starting with Paul Wong and Wong Ka Keung of Beyond fame to get build up the hype from the beginning..

It’s all the familiar songs from the Beyond-era such as ‘Amani’ and ‘Gwong Fai Sui Yuet’..The 80′s babies would definitely know and sing along with Paul Wong..

A-Lin came off after that to perform some slow numbers and yet to keep the crowd well-entertained..

The strong 40,000 crowd from the dried-up surf beach all the way to the lockers area at the back..
