Hennessy Artistry is coming back to KL and making its way to Mist Club in Bangsar on 18th September 2010..

Been attending to almost every single Hennessy Artistry back in 2008 and 2009, this year I’ve been slowing down, only attended the one at Opera Club, Sunway..

I’ve missed out the one in Zouk KL (29th May), QEII, Penang (27th May), and of course Whiteroom, KK (31st July) due to busy schedule..

Now that I’m free I will not let it slip out of my grasp again..

I need my doses of four Hennessy V.S.O.P’s signature long drinks – Hennessy Apple, Hennessy Ginger, Hennessy Berry and Hennessy Citrus..

This time around, Hennessy Artistry is introducing 3 artistes..First one being our homegrown electro-pop singer, ZE!..

Hennessy Artistry Opera Club, Sunway – What’s The Hype3

So the event is tomorrow, 19th March 2010, everyone especially those who has never attended one or is going to attend for the first-time wonders what’s the hype about Hennessy Artistry..

Most first-timers don’t know what is Hennessy Artistry and they pop up questions such as -

“What is it about?”..

“What to wear?”..

“Anything special about this event?”..

“What are we doing at this event?”..

More and more silly and noob questions being thrown when it comes to BIG events like Hennessy Artsitry..When I say BIG means only people with invitations could attend, exclusivity rocks!

So back to the questions, Hennessy Artistry is all about bring about party-goers and party together with a style of its own..

Hennessy Artistry, its tagline “Global Art of Mixing” is all about mixology of music where East meets West, visuals, and cognac into a single entity with its unique and unrivalled trend..

Hence, the vast genre of artistes being invited be it R&B, pop, hip hop, rock, DJ, Chinese, and lots more..

Basically, in Malaysian term, we called it a clubbing event..So, dressed in your killer dress or handsome shirts or whatever you usually wear to clubs..

hennessy artistry
*Dress to kill, not really*

For god’s sake, ALL of the Hennessy Artistry instalments held in clubs anyway, except for the big ones at Bukit Kiara Equestrian Club but hey, they have a dress code that is casual smart! Shorts  are prohibited ok..

FYI, this will be my first ever Hennessy Artistry after I’ve cut my hair..I used to bump into so many friends at Hennessy Artistry events but I doubt if they will recognize me this time *pouts*..

And lastly for social-party-goers, where is Opera Club? It’s just right in front of Sunway Pyramid..

*Taken from runwitme*

If you are coming from NPE or Federal Highway or LDP or wherever, right where you turn into Sunway Pyramid from the main road, you will see this 4-storey glass building..

Now that is Opera Club, right before the bus stop or main entrance of Pyramid aka Starbucks..If you know where is Coco Banana, it’s right in front of it..

Once again, the artistes for the first instalment of Hennessy Artistry 2010 will be DJ Sarasa (Japan), rockers Bunkface (Malaysia), DVJ G Mix (Malaysia), and beatboxer Shawn Lee (Malaysia)..

I’ll be there for the press conference and of course the party irself..Do say hi if you meet me =D

If you still have doubt or blur about Hennessy Artistry, do check out my previous entries on my Hennessy Artistry tag..

It’s the time of the year for Hennessy Artistry again and it’s at Opera Club, Sunway Pyramid on 19th March 2010..

A little bit of flashback into April 2009 where they kickstart at The Loft with local artiste Caprice and international DJ Starz Angel..

Moved on a bit they had it at Zouk, Phuture and Velvet Underground to be precised, in on 4th of June with Young Sixx, DJ Yasmin and our homegrown DJ Lapsap..

H-Artistry 2 @ Club Quattro KL, Featuring Lenka, Boys Like Girls, Paul Freeman, Hsiao Hung Jen9

H-Artistry, a new brand name for Hennessy Artistry after the Malaysian Government has banned any direct naming of alcohol or tobacco related brand names into their events..

H-Artistry is now back into the second instalment, after its first in Bukit Kiara featuring Ying Yang Twins and Fatman Scoop, among other international acts..

On 2nd October 2009, H-Artistry II has brought in Australian Lenka, Americans Boys Like Girls, Paul Freeman, and also Taiwanese Hsiao Hung Jen..

*The crowd*

The crowd in the club was massive..Club Quattro already is a tad bit small with a lot of unnecessary pillars, it was quite a bad choice for a place for H-Artistry with all the big names of artistes..

*Lenka performing*

As it was damn packed earlier in the night, I could’nt really take photos of Paul Freeman and Hsiao Hung Jen..

Lenka’s live performance was pretty good..

Being so-called media was so good that we have a closed area to hangout..No hassle to squeeze and push around wit hthe crowd..

*Horny and Selina*

Some bunch of familiar faces from the blogosphere attended the event too..

Not too many of them, which is a good thing..It looks more exclusive in this way..

*Boys Like Girls*

The last act of the night, Boys Like Girls..Although I didn’t particularly like any of their songs but their live performance was pretty awesome..

They really get the crowd move to the groove..Not all artistes can achieve this feat even if their studio album is good..
