It’s the Games Anime Comic Circle (GACC) 2008 convention, organised by Multimedia University..

Following are the details of the event..

ZOMG! GACC is BACK! We, EMiNA Japanese Animation Club of Multimedia University Melaka Campus are proud to announce that we will organize the 3rd Game Anime Comic Circle convention - GACC2008, a convention specially tailored for those who share the same passion in Anime, Games and Comic.

OMG~!! I so want to go to this event..But it’s at Multimedia University (MMU) Melaka Campus, which I think around 1-1 1/2 hours from my place here..

One of the attraction of the event is guest artiste from Japan, none other than seiyuu (voice actor) Masakazu Morita, the person behind Bleach’s Kurosaki Ichigo and Pegasus Seiya of Saint Seiya Hades Series..

I’m a fan of Bleach (although I’ve stopped at somewhere Episode 130), and a avid fan of Saint Seiya Series..One of the reasons make me wanted to go badly..

I’ve snubbed past anime events in Petaling Jaya ad Subang Jaya already, what’s more this is at MMU Melaka..Think I’ll give it a miss..

Unless there is some good Samaritan that can give me a leave *wink*..

Yes I’m talking bout Gabriel the movie..Not my secondary school St. Gabriel’s..

I’ve watched it on 11th of January, days before its official premier date at Cineleisure Damansara..

Well, that night, I had my dinner at Bangsar Shang Hai Ten..

After hanging around til 11pm, my friends and I drove all the way to Cineleisure with a hope of buying last minute tickets for midnight movie..

So we reached there about 11.30pm..There were 8 of us..Can’t decide on which movie to watch..

There were American Gangster, Atonement, and my suggestion, Gabriel..

I suggested Gabriel because I’ve watched the trailer on GSC and I thought it’s nice..Might be some underdog movie..

You know, a movie with a stupid name but made it big like Lord of the Ring: The Fellowship of the Ring, Borat: Cultural Learnings of America For Make Benefit-Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, and the likes of it..

Well we thought the movie was not on screen yet, until I saw it on the movie screening schedule..So we went on and bought 8 tickets for Gabriel..

So now, the spoiler of the movie..Before I move on to the spoiler, let me tell you something honestly..

Don’t worry bout the spoiler, coz the movie sucks..If you want to watch it, it will be a waste of time, waste of money, and waste of energy, physically and mentally..

So now the spoiler..

The plot sucks..The storyline sucks..The characters suck..The effects and choreograph suck..

That’s all..Isn’t it suck?

Okay, that’s generally how the movie is..So now we go in-depth..

The real thing is..The story is all about Gabriel, an Archangel, trying to fight against the Fallen the dark side..

It’s not that Gabriel is so superhero but he was ordered by some God or superior of his to do so..

So it was said that these Fallens are so great and strong that none of the previous 6 or 7 Archangels before Gabriel has managed to win against the Fallen..

With these thoughts of STRONG and NONE of the Archangels have managed to win, so it’s normal if you think that it will be great fights in the movie between the good and the bad..

Then the story went on like around 10-15minutes after the intro, Gabriel killed 1 of the Fallens just like that, with a gun..

Yes that’s right..With a gun..

Then continued to killed few more of them, with guns, rifles, and not much of fightings..

During one of the commotions with a Fallen, they did fight, but the choreograph was so bad, everything looked slow-mo..

Then, the effects and, I don’t know what you call that, is definitely bad as well..

It shows that this film is made from a very tight budget and they minimized those unnecessary scenes by not paying for extras..That’s what I think..

The only woman in the leading casts is not even prettier than a Predator..Or I mean, they look more or less the same..

Then the storyline is supposed that Gabriel find each and everyone of the previous Archangels and join forces to fight the Fallens..

Unfortunately, the one and only (no not me) greatest warrior of all, Mike is nowhere to be found..

Then in the end where Gabriel fought with the greatest one of the Fallens (whom I have forgotten what name already), the bad guy said to Gabriel, “Say my name“, literally..

Yeah, that sounds familiar, “Oh say my name“..”C’mon honey say my name..uh, ah ,oh ,ah, ah“..Familiar right?

I know it sounds nasty, and kinky as well..But what the hell..

I’m so pissed off with the movie that when the Cinema staff opened the exit door, I wanted to leave the place..

Then my girlfriend told, “Already pissed off for so long..Watch til finish lah“..

Then I thought, umm, okay lah..Just left a bit only..

Turned out that Mike is the bad guy and the bad guy is Mike..Mike killed Gabriel or something..

He felt so sorry then he uses his last strength of energy to heal Gabriel..

In the end Gabriel stands and Mike is dead..In turn, Gabriel felt sorry for having Mike killed himself to heal Gabriel, Gabriel committed suicide..

So in the end of everything, all of the Archangels and Fallens died..

Just right after the first line of the credits came out, I shouted, “TIU NIA MCH~!!” so loud that everyone in the hall could hear me..

And I know everyone agreed with me because everyone was laughing to my shoutout..Super duper pissed off with the movie..

The movie is not even deserved a place in the movie screen..It’s all waste of time..I would say it’s waste of your time even if you watch it on TV..

All of us left the hall in tulan state..So the moral of the story..

Don’t watch any movie that you think is nice just based on the trailer..

It’s best to wait for other people to watch it first then only you watch..Don’t be the front-liners..Be a back-up..

If you really want to watch a movie when you are out of movie, I would recommend The Game Plan, starring John “The Rock” Dwayne..

Yeah I know it’s kinda gay to watch The Rock in other movies other than wrestling..

But this movie turns out to be quite good of a family movie..Yes, a family movie..

I’ve watched it, on my PC..Not in the cinema..

So the next time you want to choose a movie to watch, let me give you some supportive statements..

Be a man..Do the right thing..

“Ku Chi Che Che Jheg”, is the sound that most of us familiar with since at least 20 years ago..

I went to watch Transformers The Movie at IMAX Theatre at Berjaya Times Square, which has the biggest screen in South-East Asia, or maybe Asia.??

I watched it on the 4th week after the movie is released in cinema, nationwide..But still, it’s fully packed..

I tried on the 3rd week, a Saturday, at Berjaya Times Square GSC..To my surprise, tickets were sold out for the rest of the day when I inquired at only 2pm..

Even when I watched at this IMAX Theatre, which I bought 2 tickets at the very last minute, was no exception..

The showtime was at 1.40pm, I reached the counter around 1.35pm..Asked for 2 tickets..I ended up sitting on the 5th row from the front..

Since I haven’t watch it yet, I’m quite desperate to get the tickets..I took it, not wanting to wait for another week..

As soon as I seated on the 5th row from the front, for a while I thought it was a big mistake to get the ticket..

The screen is SO BIG~!! The scope is just too wide..My eyes can’t cover the whole thing..I’m quite dizzy..

The only thing I can do is focus on one spot, that is the center point..

But then, sitting to near to the screen is not a good idea..Dizzy is one thing..

Second, you can’t focus on the screen hence you get confuse of the story and action..

As for me, to watch the action-packed movie I have to tilt my head and turn it left and right just to follow the actions..

There’s no time to read the subtitles..You read the subtitles, you’ll missed the actions on somewhere of the screen..It’s so damn big and wide..

Even so, I enjoyed the movie very much and did planned to watch it again, in the cinema, though I have already downloaded it in my PC..

But I don’t know why, I don’t feel like enjoying it when I watch it on my PC..

I enjoy watching 300 again and again on my PC, which initially was my choice for movie of the year, until Transformers came into the screen..

Now, I’m not too sure whether Transformers was worth it to be my movie of the year..It’s still a highly recommended movie though..

To watch it in IMAX, it’s totally worth it..Just cost RM 15 per ticket for adult and RM 10 for kids..

No twist and turn..Straight to point..Actions through out the whole movie..Hope there will be a sequel to it..

As an avid fan of Transformers even before I entered kindergarten, I truly love this movie, although there’s a bit of changes on the robots..

Others than Optimus Prime and Starscream, other robots are not really in their own form as shown in the cartoon back then..

Hope to watch things like the Constructicons, Insecticons, Dinobots, Omega Supreme, Astrotrain, and some other things like that..

Anyway, it still bring the impact of the battle of Autobots and Decepticons..Nice movie..

“The Departed”, the Hollywood version of HK’s “Infernal Affairs”, starring Matt Damon as I don’t know who coz I haven’t watch the HK version yet..

Same goes to Leonardo Di Caprio..Both of them leading the role of Shawn Yue - Edison Chen and Andy Lau - Tony Leung..

Starring also Jack Nicholson as Eric Tsang, and Martin Sheen as Anthony Wong..

And also Mark Wahlberg, a senior police officer whom speaks with 4 words out of his every sentences have the word ‘Fuck’..

Matt Damon learns those ‘Fuck’ sentences as soon as he gets promoted to Sergeant or something..

Since I haven’t watch the original “Infernal Affairs”, hence I don’t know how the storyline goes..

I was there on time to meet Smashpop, and the trailers and ads not even started yet..Pheeew~

Even though we were early for the show, somehow we were somewhat missed the opening part of the show..

Because the staff there were so slow to notice that the movie actually has no audio sound..For about 2-4 minutes we watching ’speechless’ movie..

The whole movie was kinda interesting, provided that I still haven’t watch “Infernal Affairs” (again)..

The scripts of local jokes was kinda funny..The guy sitting behind us laughed so loud..

But I must say the ending is kinda, kinda, kinda..Hmm..Lame.?

A piece of advice..If you already had watched “Infernal Affairs”, watch “The Departed” with lower rate ticket prices or buy the DVD / VCD instead..

Or maybe you can just simply download it, like everyone does..

Went to watch The Devil Wears Prada with Cat and Adeline..

I don’t know how well the film adaptation is from the novel..But for me, the movie was not bad, funny..

My favourite Anne Hathaway starred in it..That’s the best part..

She’s sweet, pretty, gorgeous, superbly cun, and busty..Yeah..You heard me, busty..

The whole story is all about fashion, and of course some lovey dovey stuffs..

Not really a must see movie..But if you are into fashion, it’s worth a watch and have a good laugh..

Hmm..Nothing much to talk about..I think that’s all..

I’m giving a rating of 6.5/10 maybe..

The soundtracks are not bad..When I tried to search them, it happened that there’s some kinda heavy metal band who called themselves The Devil Wears Prada..

And I was dumbfucked when I listen to the songs, knowing that there were no such songs in that movie..Wtf..

Everyone.!! Run for your life..The Decepticons is coming to Earth.!!

Yes..It’s absolutely unreal, but it is coming to our cinema in July 2007, for real.!!

Transformers, one of my all-time favourite cartoons, featuring Autobots and Decepticons..

It’s not an animated movie..It’s totally all CGI-ed with humans running around avoiding Decepticons attacks..

Just got to know about it when I was watching Reel Review on 8TV (10pm, every Wednesday) just now..

I was so excited and astonished to see the trailer because the animated series is finally coming to life..

I have been watching Transformers since my pre-kindergarten days..And I still have the tapes that I recorded long long time ago..

Yeah..The tapes are almost as old as I am..The quality is getting from bad to worse..But who cares.??? I’m keeping it as a collection..

Anyway..Check it out at Yahoo! Movies : Transformers (2007)..

This movie is directed by Michael Bay, the director of Bad Boys & Bad Boys 2, The Rock (Nicholas Cage), Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, and The Island..

Among the producers are highly rated director, Steven Spielberg..WOOO HOOOOO~!!

Isn’t it amazing.!! I must watch this gem man..Transformers is a classic..
