The Yat (One) And Only Journey…

Yes that’s right..at least I got something about the Beijing Olympic to blog about..

I didnt watch the whole ceremony at all, until the torch relay part..

Oh oh, before that, I did watched the Oath Taking ritual..After that the dancers all moved their hands in a shape of a bird, perhaps a pigeon I guess..

That part was quite funny coz the audiences and athletes from participating countries followed the movement of the hands too..ROFL..

Although it looked quite nice but those Chinese audiences looked jakun to me..LOL

The earlier stage of the torch relay was kinda bored..Until the fella took the torch steadily..

Then suddenly hung him up on the wiring cable and lifted him up to God’s know how high was that..

And that’s the moment of time in history, man runs in mid air..I don’t think he’s wearing Nike Air though..

But hell yeah..The guy running in the sky was so damn freaking cool, with the graphic of a scroll projected on the screen..

You didn’t watch it??? Never mind..Here it is..

Now, that’s what Nike needs to do to promote Nike Air..

Really, it’s so damn yeng..The ceremony ended with fireworks around thevicinity of the stadium..

Well, before I update anything regarding DGMB BBQ Party, I have something to share with you guys..

This Pablo Francisco guy, a stand up comedian like any Russell Peters or Chris Rock, did a parody of a random movie trailer..

He imitated the voice of Don LaFontaine, the voice that you usually heard in most movie s trailer..

Also, he imitated Keanu Reeves, and Arnold Schwarzeneggar, that can be easily recognised..

Got a call from Nicholas yesterday at 2pm, saying that I was selected to meet Jay Chou in person, when I was at KLIA basement carpark..

Only few selected exclusive Nuffnangers a.k.a Glitteratian get to meet him, literally..

A joint-sponsorship by Mamee funkees and uth.com.my brought Jay Chou to Malaysia..

I was so excited so I agreed..Considering that I had to drive from KLIA back to my house in Cheras, then went to Setapak and straight went over to One Utama..

The whole journey was about 180km and I reached 1U at 6pm sharp..Phew~

As soon as I reached there, met up with Nicholas, Suanie, Simon, May Zhee, and Ringo..

Then, there was some kungfu performances by Hap Kune Do martial arts performers..

Some singing contests and games were going on just to wait for the big guns arrived..

After much delay and stuffs, they finally arrived at freaking 8pm! Talk about VVIPs..

The whole time he’s on stage, I could only heard kiddos yelling as follow..

“Jay wo ai ni aaaaaaaaaah” (Jay I love you) *screams*..

“Aaaah aah ah ah ah” *screams then fainted*..

“Baron Chen hen suai eh” (Baron Chen very handsome / cute / whatever-you-name-it)..

Then I felt angry with all those lame shouts, so I called out, “Jay you are soooo ugly“..

Then he looked at me with anger..

*Who dare to say me ugly wtf*

Okay lah I made that up..I’m not that stupid to shout like that and might end up being booed and beaten by his young and energetic girlie fans..

There’s no need for me to introduce Jay as he’s no stranger in the music scene..

Been liking his songs since 2003 and he’s doing his works superbly until now..

He did a good job (if not great) acting in Initial D as Takumi Fujiwara and did a great job as a director-cum-actor in Secret (Bu Neng Shuo De Mi Mi)..

So after like half an hour later with some little of performances by Jay himself, they called it a night and it ended..

Right after that, I headed straight to Puncak Jalil via LDP to go to my cousin’s house..

Then about 11pm I went to Setapak again..

From KLIA to the second round to Setapak, I drove for about 250km, in just half day wtf..

It was a tiring day for me and thanks to Nuffnang for giving me an opportunity to ‘meet‘ Jay Chou..

As everyone knows, Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo has given the “broom award” to president of Hulu Selangor District Council and former district officer of Hulu Selangor Land Office..

I 200% fully support this move..I would say this is the only way to make them move their butt off the chairs and start to get things done..

Yes, some might say it’s demeaning and Khir Toyo might opted to send a warning letter to them or such..

I don’t think a warning letter will put any pressure on the departments..

I believe only something as big as big will enlighten them that they need to make a move so there’s no second time..

But then, Hulu Selangor District Council president, Tukiman Nail says he’ll quit if nothing is done with the broom thingy..

Hmm, is that a threat toward Khir Toyo or what.?? But I have to say it’s a bad move..

Since the broom award is already given and Khir Toyo is quite stern with it, I don’t think he’ll hesitate to let them go if they try to play with the word..

And for the underlings, they are more than happy to know their superior want to quit, coz they will stand a chance for a promotion..

So the mind game is not applicable in this matter..Tukiman lose big time..

If he intended to resign, meaning he admits his wrong-doings and the less-efficiency of his department..

I don’t think there’s a need to continue employ him in the civil department, or else, nothing good is expected..

Furthermore, the broom award is for the whole department, not particularly to the person in-charge..

Anyway,  kudos to the Selangor Mentri Besar for doing something like this..It’s a good paradigm shift after all..

And I raise my legs up to support his plan to sack below-par civil servants..

Sorry todelay this entry for so long..I should have posted it like 1 month ago.?? Like I said, PC problem..Can’t do anything..

Well, the Angkasawan hoo-hah is kinda stupid..

To make it worst, the government so damn happy with the few millions spent on the Angkasawan to send him to space for nothing..

At the same time, they are crying out loud for subsidising petrol for its people, saying it’s very expensive to do so..

I have no idea what kind of lame excuse is that and they planned to send the second Angkasawan to go up, thus need the third one for back up.?? Bullshit..

But anyway, I’ll leave that discussion on my next entry (hopefully)..

This time I’m talking bout the day when the Angkasawan (I don’t even know what’s his name) came back to Earth..

So news reports on TV and newspapers, everything focused on him..

There’s one thing that quite amused me, sort of..

If I’m not mistaken, he’s allowed to take something back to Malaysia or Earth from the outerspace..

But one thing for sure, I didn’t know that he brought home some treasure with him..

Or is it some kinda bribery that Russia gave us, or is it the other way round.??

Don’t believe it.? Try to look at this..You’ll never get this anywhere..
