Justin Lo at Guinness Arthur’s Day KL @ Sunway Giza and The Laundry, Damansara

On 28th September 2012, Guinness Arthur’s Day 2012 Kuala Lumpur proved to be a unique one with 3 music events took place simultaneously, namely at Beer Factory at Sunway Giza, Laundry Bar at The Curve, and SOULed Out at Sri Hartamas.

Earlier in the evening, I was at Laundry Bar, The Curve for some local acts performance.

SonaOne kickstarted the gig at Laundry Bar. SonaOne has emerged as the winner for the Arthur’s Day Talent Search and would be opening for Creed at Arthur’s Day Indonesia!

Then Busco came up on stage and put up an energetic performance singing covers like the rock version of “Somebody That I Used To Know” by Gotye, slow rock of “We Are Young” by fun, and they even tried it out with Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing”.

Totally enjoyed ourselves.

Then Kyoto Protocol took the stage after that. Listened to one song then I headed to Sunway Giza for Justin Lo. Glad it’s just nearby so I can sit back and enjoy both sides.

Not sure if it’s only at Sunway Giza or it’s the same at all 3 events, there was a promo going on where you get free-flow of Guinness with RM100 and RM50 for guys and ladies respectively.

Justin Lo came up on stage at around 11.30pm and started off with “Kuet Jin Yi Sai Zou”, a rather fast and fun to sing-along song.

That really kept the crowd moving to the beats and sang together with the HK artiste.

Justin Lo had performed in Malaysia before so it’s natural that he felt “at home” with the crowd.

Here I have recorded 2 songs and they are no stranger to the majority Chinese crowd at Sunway Giza.

After Justin’s performances, it’s the end for the main acts and the artistes went up on stage and cheered with the party crowd, for Guinness!

Cheers to Guinness and hope the Arthur’s Day 2013 would be another great event!
