iTalkWhoa A New Social Media Platform

If you have been using TweetDeck for your Twitter, Microsoft Outlook for your email, and organizer for your schedule plannings, why not merge everything into one, that is iTalkWhoa..

The new iTalkWhoa is a Social Media client aka website-cum-application-cum-portal that has few things all merged into one platform..

As you can see from the picture above, on the sidebar it has buttons for Mail, Contacts, Calendar and Notes, Twitter, and SMS..

As for introduction, let’s just look at the functions available..First off, Mail..

*Mail settings*

In Mail, you can actually integrate your mail (i.e – Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo) with iTalkWhoa..

There’s a long list of mail servers to be chosen from and don’t be surprise if you see any uncommon ones..

Once you have integrate your email with iTalkWhoa, the function of push-email can be enabled for emails to be pushed to any kind of mobile phones!

Good thing is it has 1GB storage for a default account and can sign up for additional storage with charges apply..

I personally think the Push-Email feature is very good because not all mobile phone has the Push-Email built-in so this feature in iTalkWhoa will definitely benefits those who have older versions of mobile phone without having to upgrade their mobile phone..

*Calendar and Notes*

In Calendar and Notes, it acts as an organizer where you could plan your meetings or schedules in a proper timetable with few options to view it..

This can be quite useful for me as I always tend to forget my own schedules especially when it comes to events and meetings coz I sometimes either messed up or have forgotten some of it..

Other than the conventional Mails and Events, iTalkWhoa has even integrated a Twitter-client into its portal..

It’s a good thing that iTalkWhoa has the initiative to include one of the fastest moving application on the Internet and I bet it will not die at least in the next 5 years..

Upon signing up, you will receive RM5 FREE in your account and that RM5 is ready to be used for SMS..

I tried it on my mobile phone and this is what it shows..

*The text I sent to myself*

It’s kinda fun if you send it to your friends who are staying overseas and all..

Once you have chosen the “Country” of the recipient the cost of SMS will appear beside the number..

So you don’t have to worry about hidden charges and all..Just sign-up and check out the rates!

As for VoIP service, you can use it to call any mobile or fixed line..You can also chat for free with another iTalkWhoa user..

Call rates applies to different countries..

I think I’ll leave the more in-depth talkings in next entry when I got used to the portal..

Want to know more please visit iTalkWhoa..
