Chris Brown Is Back With Graffiti

I always got mixed up between Chris Brown and the make up product Bobby Brown..I always thought to myself why would Chris Brown come up with a make up product of his own name?

So I realized I made a big mistake on that everytime I passby Bobby Brown at Midvalley..

Chris Brown‘s fame came to light in 2007 with #1 smash hits “With You”, “Forever”, and “Kiss Kiss” (featuring T-Pain)..

With such hits, he was the most nominated artist at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards (with eleven nominations) five of which he won including Choice Music Male Artist..

Here are Chris Brown‘s other outstanding feats during his fame reigns..

• Three 2008 American Music Awards (Favorite Male Artist-Pop, Favorite Male Artist-Soul/R&B Music Artist of the Year – also named by the same title by Billboard Magazine)
• Four 2008 BET Awards (including Best Male R&B Artist and Best Collaboration with T-Pain for “Kiss Kiss”)
• MTV Video Music Award (Best Male Video for “With You”)
• 2008 NAACP Award for Outstanding Male Artist
• 2008 World Music Award for World’s Best Male R&B Artist
• Two more Grammy nominations including Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for “Take You Down.”

During his reign as in before the hoo hah regarding him and Rihanna..I’ll say, so what? Even P. Diddy and Eminem carried a gun and went to court..That’s about it..

Internationally, they are still famous and getting songs into the top music charts..I don’t see Malaysian Government banning their songs on local radio stations..

I don’t really get the fuss of few local radio stations stop airing Chris Brown‘s songs for some time when the Rihanna abuse news was in the hot air..

Anyhow, it’s all over and let’s give this guy a new life..And talk about new life, he’s back to the scene with a new album, Graffiti..

“Graffiti has got all different shapes and sizes and colors, so that’s what my music brings – different feelings, different emotions..It brings different genres of music together all in one,” Brown told YRB Magazine..

The new album features collaborations with fellow platinum artists Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz (“I Can Tranform Ya”) as well as hit songwriter/producers Polow Da Don (“So Cold,” “Wait”, “Gotta Be Ur Man”, “I Love U”), The Runners (“What I Do”), Ryan Leslie (“Famous Girl”), and Brian Kennedy (“Pass Out,” “I’ll Go”)..

His first single “I Can Transform Ya,” featuring Lil Wayne and producer Swizz Beatz, is set to make an imaginative club banger and immediate showstopper in its debut on the Billboard charts..

Other than that, “I.Y.A.,”, an acronym for “In Your Arms,”, “Wait” with Trey Songz and Game are dance-floor compatibles and they’ll be sure to make you dance to the groove..

In stylistic contrast, his second single “Crawl,” produced by Adam Messinger and Nasri Atweh, shows Brown’s strong vocal..

“Lucky Me” broaches the concept of staying positive in the face of personal challenge, reveals the words a man coming of age and owning up to responsibility..It’s a song with universal appeal for getting through the tough times..

The album’s closer, “I’ll Go,” is a bittersweet ballad for the ages imprinted with Brown‘s poetic phrasing about closing chapters, letting go, and moving forward..Indeed it shows that our man here is really turning a new leaf!

He’s definitely giving all out in this 13-tracks new album and I can’t wait to listen to them, whether on radio or in the clubs..

Other than the new album, Chris Brown is currently back on the stage, touring 18 cities on the “Fan Appreciation Tour” as his album drops..

The tour is an extension of his charitable work with a portion of the proceeds donated to Best Buddies International..

Founded by Anthony Kennedy Shriver in 1989, Best Buddies is the world’s largest non-profit organization devoted solely to providing friendships, jobs and leadership opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities..

How’s that for a good start?

Anyone remembers seeing him with Ne-Yo in Stomp The Yard (2007)? He’s coming back into the big screen in Takers, due for release in early 2010..

Let’s see what he has to say and I definitely agree that we should give him a chance, that’s if you are still mad at him for the Rihanna incident..
