Langkawi Trip - Part 6, Buffalo Park, Pasar Malam, and Lang Square [Day 2]
Right after our lunch at Nasi Kandar Tomato, we decided to search for the Buffalo Park, where they use buffalo milk to make cheese, yogurt, and many other things..
After some thorough research and looking through the map, we finally found the buffalo park somewhere deep in the island..

*Buffalo Park Langkawi*
This is the so called Buffalo Park in Kampung Nyior Chabang, quite a secluded place in Langkawi..
By the way, an entrance fee of RM 3 is being charged wtf..

*The buffalo park*
We thought that we could have a look at the process on how the cheese are made by using these buffaloes milks but the processing team were off that day..
It’s said that they don’t process them everyday due to limited demands and also to maintain the freshness of the milk, hence the off day..
I reckon that you should not come here if you think you could not stand the strong stench of the buffaloes and their dungs..
It’s not your average playground..

*Buffalo milk products*
We tried the ice-cream, made of buffalo milk, I must say it’s very nice..The strong smell of milk is there but it’s not that bad because I can’t stand the smell of milk..But this is nice..

*Haji Ismail Group - Chocolate heaven*
After the Buffalo Park we went on to search for more hidden gems but to no avail, a lot of places were either under construction or renovation..
So we decided to call it a quit and headed to Kuah town instead..We stopped by at this Haji Ismail Group shop, a chocolate heaven..
If you are looking for halal chocolates, they definitely have it..Or maybe there’s no halal chocolate but alcohol-free chocolates..
Then we proceeded to the pasar malam in Kuah town in Pandak Mayah..Just ask the people in town for the pasar malam and they will direct you..
What we bought at the pasar malam? Move on and it’s for you to find out..

*Burger goreng (Fried Burger)*
It’s something like hotdog puff where the burger is prepared then fried it one more time, with the bread..

*Fried noodles*
Most of the stalls in Langkawi’s pasar malam prepared their products in abundance, such as this fried noodles stall..

*Fried rice*
Or like this fried rice stall..

*Drinks*
Or like this drinks stall..Look at the varieties of drinks being sold..Limau ais, cincau, sirap, orange, cendol, milo ais, and even carrot susu!

*Nasi Ayam Berempah and Madu*
Those on sale are Nasi Ayam Berempah, Nasi Ayam Madu, and Nasi Ayam Merah..Looked nice but we didn’t buy coz we were still full from our mamak lunch..

*Nasi Ayam Berempah, Madu, and Merah*
It’s quite cheap for its portion and chicken, I suppose..

*Pulut Durian/Mangga and kuih-muih*

*Nasi Pulut*
This Pulut Durian/Mangga is eaten with santan milk..Sinful indeed!

*Kuih Peneram*

*Kuih Peneram*
I got no idea what the hell is kuih peneram but since it’s just RM 1 for 10 pieces, we thought, why not?!
So we bought RM 1 of it for our late dinner..
After purchasing our “dinner”, we proceeded to the jetty a.k.a Lang Square (Dataran Lang)..

*Jetty*
This is the first time Dale been to Dataran Lang coz it’s his first time in Langkawi..
It’s my second time but I thought it would be nice if we go there for a while since it’s somewhat a tourist spot..

*Dataran Lang aka Lang Square*
The smart-looking Lang, with its strong feet and wings..

*Dale and the Lang*

*The corner of Dataran Lang*

*Creative shot*
Okay not so creative after all..Just wanted to do some bokeh shots..

*The Lang come being ushered by storm*
If only the clouds were darker than that..

*My bird pet the Lang*
When the night turned dark, we decided to head back to our room and feast on our food that we bought from the pasar malam..

*Our dessert*

*Putu Mayong and Burger Goreng*
Putu Mayong is basically Putu Mayam that we have in KL but it’s compressed in a cup-like mould with a bit of gula Melaka..Not bad..
The Burger Goreng is not bad..Just like some hotdog puff..

*Pulut Durian and Kuih Peneram*
Pulut Durian is definitely very sinful..We have pulut, which is glutinous rice, durian which is quite heaty and fattening, and also santan milk to go with it, fattening as well..
Kuih Peneram is, quite fattening too..It’s so sweet and oily that I bet a lot of people will love it and then complaining it’s very fattening..LOL~!!

*Ready to drink Mojito*
What’s life in Langkawi without an alcoholic drink?!?! Since there were just the two of us so we decided to buy something cheap and ready to drink, such as this Mojito..
To be honest, this ready to drink Mojito sucks! I had to mix with some mineral water to neutralize the taste a bit..

*Eating kuih peneram*
After those desserts, we decided to take a stroll along Pantai Cenang..
It was a fine night and I shall continue our third and last day in Langkawi in the next entry wtf..
weii..faster la..langkawi gok eh..
