Last Saturday, went to Sunway Pyramid to meet Elaine to get the items my sis has ordered..

Well, traffic was a bit jam in Cheras and at LDP toll plaza, apparently I was late for almost an hour prior to the time we’ve decided to meet, which was at 1pm..

Well anyway, met up with her and went for lunch at Ichiban Ramen, my choice for not-so-common lunch..

My definition of not-so-common lunch is something else other than fast food (McD, KFC, Pizza), Westerns (Italiennies, Chillis, Friday’s), nor Hongkie cafe (Wong Kok, Kim Gary, Station One)..

And if you know me well, you could have known that I will not choose to eat sushi, if given a choice..

So, Ichiban Ramen it is, as I love to eat noodles and all..

I ordered Sapporo Ramen..

*Sapporo Ramen*

My Sapporo Ramen, ramen in curry soup with corns, seaweed, roasted beef..

The curry soup has a bit of bittersweet taste, which I think comes from the seaweed..Some might not like the taste of it but it’s definitely fine for me and I love it..

The ramen is definitely the kind of noodle that I want, not too overcooked nor undercooked, the texture is just nice, smooth and firm, yet not too bouncy..

*Chicken Udon Dori*

This is Elaine’s Chicken Udon Dori, chicken fillets and a bit of preserved vegetables with rice..

The chicken is a bit salty which I think is because of the preserved vegetables and perhaps it’s meant to be like that..It’s not our say to judge food which is not from our country..

It was nice meeting her and we sat there for like, 4 hours I guess..So much things to share and Ryokucha is refillable..So yeah..

Guess I should return to this shop and try some other things..
