Two weeks ago, Joshua invited me to go to the Smirnoff Manchester United Limited Edition Launch at Quattro, Avenue K..

The event is actually the launching of Smirnoff limited edition promotional pack design that celebrates its partnership with Manchester United Football Club..

So here’s the look of the bottle where you can see the faces of Park Ji-Sung, Ryan Giggs, Dimitar Berbatov, and Rio Ferdinand..

I would say Smirnoff (or maybe Man Utd) is pretty smart in here for not including the most high profile player in the package, that is Cristiano Ronaldo..

It’s like they already knew he would leave the team for good..I feel happy for Man Utd for offloading such arrogant and self-centered player, even if he’s a great player on-field..

Well for a moment I thought Smirnoff is promoting football hooliganism, where it’s one of the most serious issues in UK, I guess I was wrong..

One of the reasons behind this partnership is also to promote consciousness and awareness, that is to drink with responsibility and not creating chaos..

Then everyone registered at the registration counter as invited guests..

Upon entry, each and everyone would get 3 drink coupons..

Everyone could enjoy the 3 cocktails that were being served that night..

Penalty Shots, served in capsule-like glass, where we called tabung uji in Malay, or test tube in English..Tabung uji what we usually used in Chemistry Lab..

They have the drinks in orange and red colored, which I assumed one to be Orange Juice and the red one is Cranberry Juice..

Both Orange and Cranberry Juice are sourish but fortunately, it suits my taste bud pretty good..After, Vodka is well complemented with orange juice..

The Red Zing, is of Smirnoff, Cranberry Juice, and a bit of Triple Sec (orange-flavoured mixer)..It’s a bit sourish and the vodka is pretty much covered by the Cranberry Juice..

Mule, combination of Ginger Beer, and one tablespoon of lime Juice and lime wedges..

Personally I like this one among the 3 where it feels like drinking “limau ais” but the sourness wasn’t there..It’s like drinking pure Smirnoff but minus the taste of Vodka and sourness of the lime..

The combination of Mule actually made me go heee-haw heee-haw..

Patrons got to play foosball and win prizes on that night..It was simply awesome..
