YCOM Comedy Night @ Mist Club

Well, the other day I went to Mist Club with Joshua, Fuzz, and P.Dandelion for the YCOM Comedy Night..

It was their first appearance in Mist Club and I would say it’s expected that the turn out was a bit disappointing..

YCOM actually has quite a huge fan base and it’s increasing day by day..

Anyhow I was surprised that they still continued with the show despite the bad turn out..That’s the spirit man..

First, it was Chi Ho who did the opening act and man, he’s great..LOL~!!

*Chi Ho*

The Prime Minister definitely bought his cabinet from Courts Mammoth~!! No doubt about it~!! LOL~!!

Watch the clip that we’ve video recorded at Joshua – Lousy Kabinet..

Then, the second act was Kavin and he did it with the condom joke again..Nice one..

Came the third act, who was Faisal, the crowd started to build up a bit as cheers and applause can be heard joke after joke..

I quite like Faisal’s antics..He’s a Malay but not the really typical ones..He likes to joke about Malay and their privileges, which is a good thing~!!

And I heard he’s performing alongside Harith Iskandar in No Black Tie soon..Hmm, I shall wait and see..

Last but not least, I most enjoyed with Jenhan’s crazy shit..Perhaps it’s the first time I see him performs so yeah..He’s one funny fella with lots of Malay dramas..

He’s very natural with his Malay accent and acting like a Malay like what Malays usually do in TV dramas and all..

Not bad coz nowadays not many Chinese can speak fluent Malay, what’s more to act like one of them?

Watch the clip on how he mocked the Malay TV dramas at Joshua – Malay Language Also Known As English Beta Ver2.0..

Jojo Little Kitchen @ Kuchai Entrepenuer Park

Well, for no reason, I’ve got like don’t know how many so-called spam comments from valid commentors in my blog post about Miharja Pan Mee..

Not really spams, but, they discussed bout Kuchai Jojo Little Kitchen in my Miharja Pan Mee entry..Weird..

Anyhow, the comment thingy was quite effective wtf..So I went to try it out with both of my sisters..

If you know where is Kuchai Entrepenuer Park, then I shouldn’t be a problem to locate Jojo Little Kitchen..

It’s behind a row of shoplots nearby well-known shops like Winson Fish Head Noodle and Wingz Cafe..

*Jojo Little Kitchen*

If you are not familiar with the place, you might missed the corner shop with its not quite striking signboard..

But that’s not really a problem to them coz they have quite a lot of regular customers..

*The place and my two younger sisters, Min and Shan*

Then we ordered different type of pan mee..Didn’t really know what to choose, we just made random orders..

Other than pan mee they also sell other kinds of noodles and finger food..

Read on for more mouth-watering pics and pan mee..By the way, all of the pics in this entry are NOT photoshop, only resizing and watermarks..It’s all straight from my camera..

Take That – Back For Good

Before I start, do visit Be A Style Star for girls clothing and accessories..Just say my name (Yat/Yatz/Jenkin Yat) and get discount when you buy up to 3 items (and above)..

Take That, the so-called boy band before the Backstreet’s Boys era and they were the few top-notch boy bands with lovey dovey songs, until Backstreet’s Boys came out with a bit fast-paced pop songs..

The English boy band consisting members of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange, Mark Owen, and Robbie Williams..

Take That‘s golden era was back in 1995, the album Nobody Else, where “Back For Good” is the second release singles from that album..

“Back For Good” reached #1 in 31 countries in the world and the song has been covered 89 times..

Robbie Williams then left the group around July 1995 due to internal conflicts..

Two years later, Gary Barlow recorded a solo album, Open Road and gained short stint of success while Robbie Williams became an international star following his smash hit single, “Angels”..

Take That‘s music is notable for the band’s writing of their own tracks as compared to many other boy bands..

Here’s Take That‘s hit single MTV and lyrics, “Back For Good”..

The MTV was also a hit back then, where they dance and sing in the rain..

Take That – Back For Good

I guess now it’s time for me to give up
I feel it’s time
Got a picture of you beside me
Got you’re lipstick mark still on your coffee cup
Got a fist of pure emotion
Got a head of shattered dreams
Gotta leave it, gotta leave it all behind now

Whatever I said, whatever I did I didn’t mean it
I just want you back for good
Whenever I’m wrong just tell me the song and I’ll sing it
You’ll be right and understood

Unaware but underlined I figured out this story
It wasn’t good
But in the corner of my mind I celebrated glory
But that was not to be
In the twist of separation you excelled at being free
Can’t you find a little room inside for me

Whatever I said, whatever I did I didn’t mean it
I just want you back for good
Whenever I’m wrong just tell me the song and I’ll sing it
You’ll be right and understood

And we’ll be together, this time is forever
We’ll be fighting and forever we will be
So complete in our love
We will never be uncovered again

Whatever I said, whatever I did I didn’t mean it
I just want you back for good
Whenever I’m wrong just tell me the song and I’ll sing it
You’ll be right and understood

Now, they will be performing at Mist Club, every last Thursday of every month..

Meaning this coming Thursday, 28th May 2009, is the night for their first appearance in Mist Club..

DGMB 1 Year Anniversary Cum Bloggers Movie Meet 3 @ Cineleisure

On 26th of April 2009, which was like 1 month ago, was the very date we “Definitely Gang, Maybe Bang” (DGMB) group had another movie outing to mark our 1-year meeting anniversary..

One year ago, we watched “Definitely, Maybe” and one year after, we watched “He’s Just Not That Into You”, at the very same place, Cineleisure..

This time around, we’d opened up the meeting to more bloggers and it’s fun meeting new people and all..

Pictures all credit to Nigel, Kelli, and Joshua..95% of the pictures are from Nigel..LOL~!!

*Bloggers at McDonald’s*

We met up at Cineleisure’s McDonald’s and the turn out was quite good, about 36 of us..

It was quite a feat considering we are not any organization nor community..Actually I reckoned we could have gathered more people but some couldn’t make it or got no transport..

At about 2.30pm we roamed the cinema and took a group photo before we entered the hall and all..

*Group pic*

The movie was, nice..Simply nice, because it depicted some true events that is actually happening in our society everywhere in the world..

To find true love, involve in extra-marital affairs, and many more, that sometimes rationality couldn’t come into the picture when you are in dilemma and all..

And to my surprise, the movie has quite a number of well known actors and actresses, such as Scarlett Johansson, Ben Affleck, Jenifer Aniston, Jennifer Connelly, Drew Barrymore, Justin Long, and few others..

I would rate it 7.5/10, thanks to its good plot and storyline..I just love it..

Read on for more lovely pics and a surprise marriage proposal from a guy to his girlfriend in the cinema..

Malaysian Dream Girls Season 2 Finale @ The Curve

Last Friday, 15th May, Malaysian Dreamgirls (MDG) Season 2 Finale was held at The Curve, Mutiara Damansara..

Never thought of going coz it would be crowded and all, as it is open to public..

Then Sarah told me she can get some VIP passes, so I accepted her offer and went there to practice my shooting skill..

All photos are shot under Manual mode, without flash, all based on settings on shutter speed, aperture, and ISO..

Photos are original as it is, no post-processing, only resizing and watermark..Oh, just 2 or 3 photos are cropped for better composition..

I was standing about 10 feet away from the front most of the stage..So I just chose few photos from the 100 photos that I’ve taken..

*Nice and sharp*

These 2 photos are cropped before I put them together..Even if it’s not cropped the pics still look fine, just that I want to focus on the object more..

*The 3 finalists, Pinky, Dawn, and Juanita*

This is my favourite pic of the night..No photoshop at all, only resizing and watermark..Thanks to the flashes flashed by the media photographers..

*L>R – Pinky, Dawn, Juanita*

The real pic is a bit too small, I mean the object, in this case, the models..So I’ve cropped the pic so the object is more concentrated..

I know, the composition is a bit off..I prefer the original one..

Read on for more pics and result..
