The Yat (One) And Only Journey…

Last Saturday on 28th February 2009, I got invited by Nicholas to attend a somewhat private gathering at Shalome, Taman Tun Dr. Ismail (TTDI)..

It’s some kinda “special event” hosted by Jane and Viknesh..I’m happy with their hospitality and all..It’s very nice to know them..

Shalome is located on the shoplots opposite of Pizza Hut near TTDI Plaza, some referred as old IBM Tower..

It’s restaurant and bar, where singers were hired to perform, varieties of food available in the menu, and varieties of drinks, from beer to liqour to wine..

There were some other bloggers as well, namely KY, Yeehou, Yi Ling, Huai Bin, Ginny, Fugz, Stephanie, Shinyee, and also Nuffnang‘s February Featured Blogger Tzia..

We were then served with varieties of food, from tapas to pastas to pizzas, name it..

The chips were crisp and cheese were cheesy..Just lovely..

The taste wass quite good, cream was creamy but I reckon that it’s not creamy enough..Okay, maybe my taste bud is asking for too much coz according to Ginny it’s creamy enough..LOL..

The mutton was tender and it’s well marinated, but a bit too salty..Could be improved again..

It’s nice and crispy but there are still rooms for improvement..

The pizza didn’t really fascinate me..The crust was a bit hard and the cheese wasn’t really cheesy enough..It’s a bit of watery form instead of sticky..

After the fulfilling meal, we proceeded to sit down and chill while enjoying the live performances..

Chill out session was great with great company and, great drinking game..

At around 12-midnight, left me, Huai Bin, Yiling, Jane, Viknesh, and a true Korean guy, calls himself AJ, played the greatest ever drinking game..

It’s no joke, most of us got high and all within 20-minutes..Crazy shit..

If next time you couldn’t finish your boozes, this is the game to go to force the boozes way down your throat..

Then I couldn’t remember why or how, Yiling and Jane got punished to drink a jug of water because they chose water over Macallan..

Thanks to the plain water a.k.a sky juice, we left in total sober except for Huai Bin, who slept in his car and drove home unconsciously..

He K.O-ed and slept like a pig..LOL..Well, you shall read his blog entry HERE to know better..
