Adidas Turns 60 @ Zouk KL

Last Friday on 27th February 2009, Adidas marked their 60-years of existence in Malaysia and they celebrated it in style..

And the venue they chose to do it was no other than my current favourite clubs of all, Zouk KL..

By the way, it was my third consecutive weeks at Zouk KL..I know, it may sound damn happening to you, but it might not

The event started around 8pm, with few guest artistes performed for the opening..

As expected from the three-stripes label, B-boys and hip-hoppers were seen performing donning their apparels..

After the hyper performances, the event kickstarted by the hosts, Henry and Daphne..Such a lovely pair..

Well as anticipated as he is, Fuzz always IN for games and all..Okay, Fuzz got his name wayyyy before DJ Fuzz won the Heineken Pioneer DJ thingy..

So don’t get confused..DJ Fuzz is DJ..Fuzz is the so-called President-cum-organizer of Coolerclub wtf..LOL..

You can never separate old skool jackets from Adidas..They are like next of kins, after sneakers..

Well, casual wears and Adidas label were like one of the IN things back then..It’s like one of the most significant sports brand name in the market..

You can almost see the 3-stripes or the 3-petals-stripes everywhere..I only know their sneakers, from Superstar to Samba to Stan Smith to CLassic..

Then they had a cut cake session with few invited artistes..It was quite a grand thing..

As soon as the cake session finished, the event got into the second-half where it’s clubbing time..

It was the night of the Lapsaps, a DJ group created by some advertising people where they play electro-funk music..It’s a very niche market I would say..

The crowd was ready to rock the body and dance to the groove..

It was all happening and some of the regular party-goers at Zouk already associated themselves with Lapsap, as they are the resident DJs of Barsonic..

Of course, how can I party without the crazy bunch..If I’m not mistaken, it’s also the 3rd consecutive week for some of them to be at Zouk as well..LOL..

That night was crazy shit..I had Long Island, few glasses of Black Label with water and also with Heineken, and one or two shots of Tequila..

Well, luckily I didnt drive that night..Crazy night but it ended with shits as well..

Bumped into a roadblock on Jalan Loke Yew..You can already guess what had happened from there..It wasn’t a nice scene..

Anyway, think I’ll take a break from Zouk for 2 weeks, perhaps..
