Father’s Day Delight

It was Father’s Day on Sunday that me and my sisters didn’t miss the chance to go out for dinner with my dad..
Not a very cozy one but it’s fine no matter where we eat as long as we eat with our loved ones..Of course, not those horrible ones..
We went to Taman Billion’s Cowboy Delight, another average Western food restaurant at the Western food shoplot-joint..
The main outlet is at Taman Rasa Sayang, a little further from the old Phoenix Plaza at Taman Len Sen before you pass through the toll plaza..
The prices are more reasonable compared to Chillis, TGIF, and the likes..If you have tried Kaki Corner, Rendezvous, and the likes of it you’ll know..
And so, we ordered the followings..
*Australian Deer Meat*
Well, we just ordered it because the name sounds exotic, Australian Deer Meat wtf..
But the taste? Tasted like beef..So I’m not sure whether it’s really deer meat or just beef..
*BBQ Sirloin Steak*
I’ve no comment about sirloin steak coz I don’t really know how a sirloin steak should taste or feels like..
But I don’t really like the fat part in the middle of it..It’s a bit tough and quite bland..
*Grilled Lamb and Chicken*
No bad comment bout the chicken..Tasted just like any other Western restaurants there..
Lamb, taste not bad..Quite tender, not as expected to be a bit tough and hard..
*The usual Fish and Chips*
Well I’m not really a fan of Fish and Chips but no bad comment too..It’s quite safe to order and it won’t go wrong coz it’s easy to cook..
*Grilled Tenderloin and Chicken*
The tenderloin is quite good..As the name says, it’s quite tender..Not being specific on the cooking, it came out to be a bit of half done-ish..I’m surprised..
All in all, the food was not bad just that everything is quite cold on the inside..The black pepper sauce that goes with it was not hot enough too..
Hotter meat and more sauce would make the dinner a better experience..
You may order it in sizzling plate to keep its warmth but they charge RM2 for a sizzling plate on any of the dish..And additional of RM0.50 for extra sauce..
I guess that’s why they serve just the right amount of sauce?

Some restaurants claim that they serve venison ( Deer meat ) but really, it’s quite obvious…
You should rub it in their face.
