Roxy Summer Splash A Splash

Went to Roxy Summer Splash (RSS) event at Sunway Lagoon yesterday..The event was organised by Seventeen magazine..
Too bad to be true, it sucks..Well, I didn’t enter Lagoon at all..I was just standing outside and wandered around in Pyramid..
And all the words I got from everyone, it sucked..
The worst is, I wasted around one hour and a half stuck in the traffic and finding carpark..
I drove into New Wing parking and got out of it after about 15-20minutes..There were damn loads of cars and visitors..
In the end I parked my car at the housing area opposite of Sunway Resort, and it’s FULL too..

Seeing the queue was like the shock of the year..I wouldn’t want to squeeze myself in like sardines and do nothing inside..
Heard from my friends who were in there, they queued for almost 2-hours just to get into the surf beach site..
And the thing is, there’s nothing much in there except for some performances on the stage with Liang as the emcee..
The people who got in with RSS access, were not allowed to cross-over to the theme park..So they were basically stuck in the surf beach site..
Some of my friends got out of Lagoon after spending a mere 10-minutes in there..
Really nothing much in there, but people, yes, whole loads of them..I guess that’s what we could expect from a free entry event..

So we left the scene and had our lunch at Ajisen Ramen in the New Wing..

The soup and chasiu were not bad..Maybe I’m too hungry..That’s my first meal of the day at about 3.45pm..
Together with us were also Hiew, Hung Wei, Anston, Eugene, Eri, and Fattien..
Luckily there was a Fotokem Roadshow..Simple photography tutorials and seminars were given to the public..
There were models for the public to practice their photo shoot skills too..

In the end we left Pyramid at about 7pm..All in all, it was a bad day outing but saved by the Nikon seminar..

Anyhow thanks and sorry to Nigel for the ticket and trouble..Initially I told him to reserve ticket for me but in the end I didn’t enter at all..I shall drink a shot during BBQ party as punishment okay

nah nah…i gt my tix from MYC…doesnt mean i’d b goin wid them…if i RELI did wen, its either i’d catch up wid u guys or i wud have follow my CF frens…but yea, thank gdness i didnt go…BUT enjoyed bak ku teh at frens hse!!hahaha!!
