Bao Bao Pan Mee @ Pandan Indah

FOOD REVIEW FUUUUUUUUUUUUU~!!! *raise hands up in the air and profusely shaking crotch*

It has been a while since my last food review and my last update..

So here I’m doing a Pan Mee food review, yet again..

It’s the increasingly famous Bao Bao Pan Mee at Jalan Perubatan 2, Pandan Indah, the shoplot on the opposite road of Steven’s Corner..

Business hour is from 10.30am to 9pm on Monday to Friday, and 9am to 9pm on Saturday and Sunday..Closed on Wednesdays..

It has another branch outlet at Puchong..Not sure where’s the location..

Anyway, let’s walk the walk and talk the talk..

*Inside of the shop*

Usually, you’ll see lots of people standing beside of the shop waiting for seats..

That’s the only problem if you want to eat here..

But right after you are seated, you Pan Mee will be served in about 5-minutes..That’s quite fast..

*4 different kind of chillies*

That’s the soup and dry version of the Pan Mee..The portion is quite small for me..Yea, considering I’m a big-eater..

The contents are a bit different from the usual Pan Mee..The usual mushroom, black fungus and fried anchovies are not included..

The thing they have are few slices of fish cake and some chicken meat..

Four different kind of chillies for you to choose to go along with your Pan Mee..

*5 Flowers Tea – 5 Fah Cha*

This is their creation of leong sui, 5 Flower Tea (5 Fah Cha)..Based on the name itself, it’s a mixture of 5 different flowers that are used in tea..

Namely Jasmine, Chrysanthemum, and others which I don’t really care..

*The pork balls*

As usual, you can side-order some stuffs..So I ordered extra pork balls..

The pork balls are a tad hard..I suppose this is due to the lack of boiling time before they serve..

And also, the soup they served with the pork balls, is just plain bland water, which they boiled together with the pork balls..

Taste wise, both the soup and dry type is not bad..I would recommend this place if you wouldn’t mind about the price and the unbouncy pork balls..

The price is not THAT expensive but portion wise, I don’t think they go along well..

One more thing, this Bao Bao Pan Mee do it cafe-style..Meaning.? They charged you with service tax..

Overall, it’s not bad and worth to try..On the contrary, I would still prefer Taman Miharja’s Pan Mee..

Although this Bao Bao Pan Mee taste almost the same as the Taman Miharja’s, but with the pros and cons, I prefer Miharja’s..

The pork balls are to die for..I had seen a customer ordered 30 extra pork balls just for himself and his wife, together with 2 bowls of Pan Mee..

What say you.? I would say Miharja Pan Mee the best I’ve tried..

Selamat Hari Raya

Wishing every Muslims in the world a happy Aidil Fitri and Selamat Hari Raya to Malaysians..

And also, happy birthday to Junn..Had a dinner celebration at Midvalley’s Chilis..

Then had a drinking binge at my house..Having a little hangover right now..

Will try to update as soon as I get the pics from the photographers..

Til then, have a happy holiday..

Jam Like Hell In KL~!!

I was so dumbfucked with the traffic congestion around KL yesterday..

As you see, I was about to fetch my sister at Public Bank nearby Kampung Attap..

She was supposed to off work at 5.45pm or something..So I went out at 5.30pm from my house here at Taman Pertama..

Reached the Cheras roundabout entered the Loke Yew intersection, it was already jammed, as usual..The crawl was fucking massive.

You know, from Loke Yew you’ll reach the flyover where the old F&N factory was located then come the Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka building..

From the Cheras roundabout intersection to reach to the flyover, I wasted about 45 minutes..

Then, from the Tsun Jin High School to reach the Chinese Community Hall at Kampung Attap I needed another 45 minutes..

For that stretch road of Loke Yew I needed about 1 hour and 30 minutes in total..

Then from there to go back to my house, I needed another 45 minutes..

Turn back to that road of Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, before going up the Loke Yew flyover, I went down to the Pudu-Sungei Besi small roundabout..

Thought of going down to Sungei Besi-Besraya highway, but I opted for Chan Sow Lin trying to exit at Jalan Peel..

Queue-ing up at the traffic light before entering Peel Road, I saw another massive crawl at Pell Road..

Cars already full at the back of the line, entering at the traffic light to Peel Road..Meaning that big junction of Pudu-Chan Sow Lin-Peel Road was stucked, too..

Then I made a U-turn before the traffic light, went back into Chan Sow Lin, exit at Besraya nearby Tai Thong School..

The traffic was quite smooth there..Went into the trunk road of Salak South Police Station to enter Bandar Permaisuri..

It was all clear there..I should have taken that road earlier instead of the Chan Sow Lin..

From Bandar Permaisuri I entered Sri Johor and all the way to Sri Pulau Pinang-Ikan Mas..

As usual, I exit at Cheras Badminton Stadium, then turned into the trunk road beside Shell station to get back home..

When I reached home, it’s already 8.15pm..

So in total, I’ve taken about 2 hours and 45 minutes for just 30++km travel around KL..

What’s with the jam and all, I don’t know and don’t want to know..I was fucking pissed off for driving for so long, but it’s just a 30++km journey..

I LOVE MALAYSIA~!! MALAYSIA BOLEH~!!

What’s Up People (Death Note OP) – Maximum The Hormone

This is a song that I like very much, after Slipknot‘s creative works..

Maximum The Hormone, is a Japanese band..From this single alone, I think they are trying to imitate Slipknot’s style..

It’s the second opening of Death Note anime series..

I have yet to hear something alike Slipknot, until this single..It resembles Slipknot a lot, which I quite like..

For your info, Slipknot is not a death metal band or something..

Their masks and looks can be quite deceiving but their songs have not even a single vulgar word in it..

If you like Slipknot, you’ll love this tune, at least I do..

Here’s the video clip of What’s Up People from Youtube..

By the way, I’ve already updated Mai Hoshimura – Sakura Hiyori entry, embedded with a video clip from Youtube as well..

Memo To Other Nation’s Embassy Can, Memo To Putrajaya Cannot

Need not explain more..

As we know, the Malaysian Bar Council went on a “Walk of Justice” at Putrajaya on September 26th 2007..

The march from the footsteps of Palace of Justice ended at the Dataran Putra roundabout..

More than 2000 lawyers and activists joined the march, to seek the setting up of a Royal Commission over the video clip showing a prominent lawyer purportedly brokering the appointment of judges with a senior judge..

Bar Council president, Amiga Sreenevasan handed 2 memoranda to Prime Minister’s political secretary Datul Wan Farid Wan Salleh, which will later be given to Pak Lah..

The march and hand over of the memo was a move to seek justice to clear the name of the judiciary, which is quite an important matter to them..

But then, someone smart enough to say that the Bar Council shouldn’t behave like that..

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Aziz said that marching like that to hand over a memorandum is behaving like the opposition..

Nazri Aziz says, “Unless they want to show their hostility, why should they stoop so low by behaving like Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), DAP and PAS?”

So, is this statement a defamatory.?? If this statement is said by an anonymous or socio-politic blogger would he/she be sued over the statement.?

I’m not done yet..To show how stupidly this statement is being made by the person in the Prime Miniter’s Department, something else happened..

A group of about 200 people submitted a memorandum to officials of the Myanmar Embassy here, urging their government to restore peace and stability in their country following a violent crackdown against demonstrators there..

The members of 14 youth groups and Barisan Nasional Youth movements, called themselves “Malaysian Youth Coalition for Peace and Freedom in Burma”..

They marched along Jalan Ampang carrying placards with messages urging the Myanmar Government to resolve the crisis peacefully..

Joining the march was Deputy Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin..I’m not surprised IF the march is led by him..

So, this march here is to hand over a memorandum to the Myanmar Embassy here to urge their government to restore peace in Myanmar, which I guess is not our problem..

The riot and “junta VS Burmese monks and civilians” war is a part of Myanmar’s internal war, which we called Cold War..

I remembered a person says that to march on the street and handing over memorandum is behaving like the opposition..

So, is actually march protests and handing over memorandum to officials a stupid and low-class act, or it’s an act of justice and peace oriented.??

If it’s a stupid and low-class act, then our Deputy Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin is not any smarter than the government-claimed stupid opposition..

And it’s a statement made by the government people themselves..So who is the wise guy here.??

I’m not saying that the urge of the world to the Myanmar government to restore peace in the country is a stupid thing..

I too, hope that peace will be restored in that country and in any country in the world..

As the saying goes, “Make Love, Not War”..To Bush, Howard, and Blair, get the point.??

The point is our very own Malaysian government mindset, specifically the people in it..

So you think that urging other nation’s government to restore peace from its Cold War is FAR MORE IMPORTANT than uplifting and justifying the dignity and honor of our very own Malaysian lawyers and judges.??

What other thing is more important than internal problem.??

Solve our problem first before you trying to be smart to help others..

Yes, others are in need..But our very own people is VERY in need as well, let alone the increasing social problem of the foreigner workers in our motherland *ahem*..

I don’t see anything will be better for the statement towards the Bar Council by defaming the oppositions..

I’m now eligible to vote in the General Election and many of my peers would be able to do so by next year, should the general election comes next year..

We’ll try to make things right for the sake of our beloved country and also fellow civilians, if nothing is changed..

It’s not that we try to take advantage of every single mistakes made by the current government but, there isn’t anything praise-worthy..

Learn from mistakes..If the government could give us 100, no, 50 important matters worth to be mentioned, I don’t think the people would mind or even care a single mistake out of that 50..

Just my two cents..Correct me if I’m wrong and I apologise to those who can’t take my words..
