My Engineering Design Little Project0

SEMESTER BREAK FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU~!! *raise hands up in the air and profusely shaking crotch*

Well, just about 2 weeks before my finals, we had a subject called Engineering Design, where we learned how to draw engineering drawings and AUTOCAD..

Umm, whatever..Long story short..We had to construct a stationery set in a group of 2 within 4 hours..

So here’s the thing that I did with my friend..

*Cutting the plastic sheet*

Now first of all, cut the plastic sheets into small pieces with a plastic cutter..

Dimensions were measured and cut accordingly..

Plastic sheets were being cut into desired measurements and shapes..

Glued the plastic sheets according to our idea with chloroform..Yes, the thing that people used in TVB dramas to make a girl faint and eventually rape her..

Here’s my stationery set..It’s 25cm X 25cm for the base..

These spaces here with the diagonal divider are where you put your pens and pencils and anything that is long and straight..

These 2 spaces here are place for you to your CDs or DVDs, ideally built for the size of 10 piece discs aside, together with plastic cover..

The middle space here is to put notepad papers of 10cm X 10cm..

*The mobile phone handle*

This diagonal sheet here is for you to put your mobile phone on a standing position..

It’s suitable for any models of the mobile phone available in the market nowadays..

This is my teammate, Yap Yong Yee..He has quite a briliant brain with some briliant ideas..

This piece here done by my friend..It’s so creative that they built the drawer with the plastic sheets..This is one of the masterpiece around..

It’s not a difficult thing to do, but it took up 4 hours to build it..

The plan and idea was there..The problem the insufficient bottle of chloroform that were being used..

Only 2 bottles were provided for more than 10 groups to use..

Anyway, when the thing is done, satisfaction guaranteed, although it’s not a very big thing..

Talk about big thing and super satisfaction, I’ll talk about it in the next post or so..

Reminisce Of My Mom - 1 Year After0

On Friday, 27th of April 2007, was a year after my mom’s death..

Time past as life still goes on..Thinking about the funeral, it seems like just happened yesterday..

The whole event and things still fresh in my mind..It’s been boggling around ever since..

I still remember the moment the doctor told me she had passed away, being the only one there to receive the news first hand..

To be precised, none of the family members was with her when she released her last breath..

It’s not easy to take it all alone by myself..I called few of my closest friends and let them know that my mom had passed away..

It’s not that I wanted to make it a big thing, but most of my friends do know my mom, that’s why..

News spread out with the speed of light..Most of my close friends sent their regards and condolences via sms..

Some of them who barely know my mom, too sent their regards and condolences..Thanks alot for your concern and solicitude..

Things all messed up after my mom’s death..The whole family was disturbed by it and everyone was sad and seems like grieving the whole time..

Arguments happened all the time between family members and everyone was trying very hard to cope with new life..

Anyhow, things are back to normal now and we are on a so-called new life..

Although things are back to normal, I do sometimes recalled what my mom did for us when she’s still around..

We do missed her a lot..Though it might be sad for her to leave us behind, it might be the best path for her to find peace in her life..

It’s so hard for the last 8 years of her life..But she still did what a mom should do without any complain or hesitation..

It’s not the time to regret how we treated her when she’s still around..But it’s time to wake up and start to move forward for the sake of our own, if not for hers..

On Friday, we went to Fatt Wah Temple and had a brief pray to her altar..

Then I looked back on the sms-es that my friends sent to me..I just couldn’t stop thinking about the whole thing..

But I know, I still have my good friends and my beloved family members..

I’m not alone nor my family..Together we will fight through pains and sorrows til the end of time..

We missed you a lot mom..Rest in peace..

SpeedZone Tour 2007 @ KL Tower - Part 22

The craze of SpeedZone Tour is still hovering in my head and of course my ears..

I’m partially-deaf after the happening night..Full blast of amplifiers bombarded the whole stage that night..

We were treated with a little bit of D-Formation before we went off to have our drinks behind The Weld..

That’s the time Marco V kicks off his stunning performance..Some shufflers even have T-shirts with Marco V’s name printed on it..

So we missed Marco V’s tune and treated with Yoji Biomehanika’s antics..

I would say Yoji’s works are more on hard trance..There’s even a remix version of the ol’ Tetris game theme..

Overall, it was a great night..I would say it’s more or less as fun and happening as last year’s at Sepang (SIC) Grandstand..

I love Gabriel & Dresden’s works more than hard trance, though..

My legs were damn tired and the place was damn packed..I can hardly move my body around, leave alone shufflers trying to move their legs..

But in the end, we did enjoyed ourselves, just a tad tiring..The event ended at about 2.30am..

Am looking forward to SpeedZone Tour 2008 Hope big names like Paul van Dyke or Armin van Buuren will be in the list..Hehehe..

SpeedZone Tour 2007 @ KL Tower - Part 10

As expected from SpeedZone Tour, the gig/rave on Saturday at KL Tower was a blast..

A great performance by Gabriel & Dresden at last year’s SpeedZone Rave,Sepang Circuit Grandstand, give some hope to fellow rave-goers to expect at least the same thing as last year’s..

I guess news passed around quite fast and SpeedZone Tour did proved to be one of the best rave party ever held..

Tickets being sold out in a speed of light..1000 FREE give-away tickets were being grabbed in just 48-hours after the registration had begun..

3200 of pre-sale tickets were sold out in just 2 weeks..And 1800 of door-sale tickets were sold out within 4 hours..

Long story short, let’s get to the main agenda, that’s the aftermath of SpeedZone Tour 2007 at KL Tower..

This was about 10pm, where we got out of KL Tower and headed to The Weld open carpark to have a couple of drinks..

They were hoping for any early-leavers to sell their entry-tags to them..Look how desperate they were..

The crowd waiting out there were estimated to be at least 100 people..

Once again, the SpeedZone Tour is here, in conjunction with the F1 Championship..

It’s happening tomorrow, 7th of April 2007, Saturday..Don’t miss it out..

Other than the big gala dinner featuring Earth, Wind & Fire, Speedzone Tour rave party is the next best thing..

I’d been to the SpeedZone Tour 2006 at Sepang Grandstand, featuring the big name of Gabriel & Dresden..

This year the SpeedZone Tour 2007, will be featuring another big shot..That’s Yoji Biomehanika, hails from Japan..

On the DJ list include Joey G of Channel V, D-Formation from Spain, and Marco V from Netherlands..

It’s one of the most anticipated so-called rave event of the year..

The 1000 free give-away tickets were given out in just 2 days..Not to mention I’m one of the lucky boy..Muahahahaha..

UCSI Modelling Course Launching0

Whatever course you want to study, there’s University College Sedaya Institute (UCSI) for you..

You want engineering, come here..You want nursing, come here..You want music, come here..You want modelling, come here..

Last Friday, it was the launching of the Modelling Course in UCSI..

Students from the modelling course did some catwalks and also special appearance by ELITE Models..

ELITE is some kinda school for professional modelling..Not to forget special sponsor from Malaysia Fashion International Association (or is it MIFA.??)..

Oh well, the whole thing was quite crappy coz I was starving during lunch just for this shit..
